Kitzbühel Lifestyle and fast horses - Thrilling games for the big final of the Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup

The players of the Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup let the first day of the tournament end at the Kitzbühel Country Club with live music and fine dining. Since a couple of years the Captains Dinner always takes place only a few steps away from the polofield. Host of the evening, Richard Hauser, opened the night for guests of the KCC and the plays of the 21. Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup.

Decision were made on the field today: who will play the big final for the Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup and who will play the small final for the Kitzbühel Cup? Team Veuve Clicquot as well as team Bendura Bank could win their games this morning and will play for the Kitzbühel Cup tomorrow at 1 pm. Team Casablanca, who lost against Veuve Clicquot and team World Polo League will play the first game in the morning.

The first finalist will be team Bentley after a thrilling game. Only one goal difference against Engel & Völkers with the German team captain Johannes Wimmer secured the team the final. Melissa Ganzi and the Argentines Martin Juaregui and Alejandro Novillo Astrada therefor will have high hopes on the title this year.

Defending champion Matthias Normann and his team Intocast made a huge step towards winning the second time in a row. Against Peter Cromm and team BOOOST Normann, Micky Duggan and Martin Donoan won 9-7 and will compete against Team Bentley at 2.15 pm tomorrow. Only one team managed to defend their title at the Snow Polo World Cup and that is already 20 years ago.

A couple of thousand spectators watched the exciting games at the Münichauer Wiese in Kitzbühel. That there will be even more spectators than before could already be seen yesterday. DJ Erok provided the perfect musical background in between the chukkers and the games as usual. No questions left for the spectators attending a polo game for the first time thanks to the “Voice of polo” Jan-Erik Franck. He comments the games with humor and charme and explains all the rules to the fans. In the big VIP-tent, which was completely sold out today, the high society could watch the games as close as it gets with a glass of Veuve Clicquot or AIX rose wine.

Also tomorrow the entry to the public area is free. Tickets for the VIP-tent incl. food and beverage can be purchased online under https://kitzbuehelpolo.ticket.io/ or at the checkout at the venue.
