Kitzbühel, 5th December 2019. The 18th Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbühel 2020. The epitome of snow polo prowess is set to grace the glamorous Alpine resort in just six weeks, with international polo powerhouses ready to battle for victory on the snow.   

The 18th Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup is a world-class event, with an abundance of the world’s best polo players gathering to delight in a bout of healthy competition, but this year isn’t just all about the polo. The 2020 social events are set to be bigger and better than ever before, with the fun set to commence in the heart of Kitzbühel at the high-end Hotel Zur Tenne, as the record-breaking eight teams are presented to the world’s press and the people of Kitzbühel. With polo fans lining the streets and a real party atmosphere, there is no better way to hail the beginning of the 2020 snow polo season, than with these opulent festivities. Later that evening, the eight teams, as well as the lucky VIPs will be cashing cheques and placing bets in the Casino Kitzbühel for the first in a whole weekend of spectacular evening events, welcoming back old friends, making new acquaintances and eyeing up the tough competition for the next three days.

Following the first bouts on the snow on Friday 17th January, with the atmosphere at an all-time high, Kitzbühel Country Club will open its doors to Club members, players and the lucky invitees for an evening of fun, laughter and dancing, but it is the evening of Saturday 18th January for which all heads will turn. The ‘Tyrolean Night’ themed Polo Players’ Night will put the 800 guests at centre stage in the VIP marquee transformed into a showcase of Austrian black tie excellence, perfectly placed on the sidelines of the snow polo arena. With Kitzbühel’s most famous faces assured to be in attendance, the evening will thrill attendees with the perfect mix of traditional Austrian hospitality and 21st century elegance.
